The mobile barrier developed by CFM Schiller is used to perform side-crashtests according to ECE-R95. The mobile barrier is used to perform tests regarding safety of passenger cars. At the front surface of the mobile barrier an impact plate is installed which is adjustable in a range of 100 mm. On the front surface a honeycomb structure can be mounted. Further more on an elevated mounting surface a camera or other measuring devices can be installed. To keep the same COG it is possible to shift movable counterweight. During design a special focus was on the exact COG point which was verified on the CFM „Vehicle Inertia Measuring Machine“.
The mobile barrier developed by CFM Schiller is used to perform rear car crashtests according to FMVSS 301-old. This movable barrier serves to perform test related to passive safety of passenger cars. The front surface is provided with a strong steel plate structure on which a wooden plate is installed, which can replaced after damaging. To mount cameras or further measuring equipment mounting surfaces are provided. To accomodate the COG of additional equipment a mass compensation is integrated. The wheel load is exactly according to the specified regulations.
