XiControl is the latest addition to the CFM Schiller Testing System portfolio. It is an intuitive and reliable testing solution package tailored to the requirements of our customers.
XiControl can be used for the research and development of new components or materials, as well as for the verification of load tests in various areas. Thanks to our many years of experience in the field of test bench machines and special machine construction, we can also implement new types of tests and machines. Together with our air spring systems, the MOCOKIT and the base plates, you receive a complete test stand system from a single source.

With decades of experience in test rig hardware as well as their analog and digital control systems, we have engineered the corresponding front end to simplify your entire testing processes.
With many established competitors in the market, we have listened closely to the needs of our longtime customers. XiControl is therefore specifically designed for small and medium sized testing applications with little complexity and low dynamics. It fi ts seamlessly into the MOCOKIT system and can also be used to upgrade existing test rigs, regardless of brand. Despite the wide range of functions, the system off ers only those features needed for cost-effective yet accurate testing. With CFM specializing in customized test rig engineering, we integrate many optional functionalities upon request.
XiMotion is an industry-neutral testing software ideally suited for research and development as well as quality assurance purposes. Common applications are tensile and rigidity tests in materials research or fatigue testing of components in automotive, aviation, and agricultural industries. The system can however be used in almost any field with the following requirements.
XiControl is specifi cally developed for testing applications with electromechanical actuators. When testing in a medium force range with low dynamic properties, this type of actuator has many advantages over classic hydraulic actuators. There is no need for hydraulic media supply, which signifi cantly reduces operating costs and additionally keeps your test rig clean. The components weigh less and can be handled manually, they take up less space in the test rig setup, and the lack of hydraulic hoses causes less interference. CFM XiControl with electromechanical

If our standard actuator specifi cations do not meet your requirements, please feel free to contact us for an individual offer. We do provide actuators with different specifi cations, from other suppliers, with special functionalities like water-resistance, or alternative systems with hydraulic or pneumatic actuators.
XiMotion is an industry-neutral testing software suited for research and development as well as quality assurance purposes. XiMotion seamlessly integrates with the various CFM hardware components for testing as well as existing test rigs of other manufacturers.
The user-friendly PC program allows management of entire testing workfl ows. Features include actuator and sensor integration, adjustable actuator controls, synchronization of external components with I/O interfaces, definition of customized test sequences, signal processing, measurement data recording and analysis, automated reporting, and optional actuation of PLC-controlled hardware.
Our user-friendly XiMotion software allows managing of all relevant aspects in your testing process. The intuitive GUI provides every function in one program. Creating test signals in the so called sequencer is realized with graphical function blocks, requiring no knowledge of programming languages and consist of an additive test program design concept. One or multiple signals can be displayed in online graphs in order to enhance live analyses and optimizations. Limit values can be set to key parameters of the hardware in order to protect operators and the test rig components.
Multiple Add Ons (see picture below) are available to create an individual solution for your testing process and requirements.
The test sequences are generated in XiMotion by configuration and combination of various test step elements. Simple and complex actuation signals are possible for diff erent control modes. Complex waveforms include sinusoidal, trapezoidal, triangle, and rectangle signals with optional frequency and amplitude sweeps. Nested loop structures as well as case diff erentiation based on external signals can be implemented. Diff erent limit functions allow restriction and surveillance of values. Measurement data recording is adjustable in terms of recording rate, variable selection, recording intervals, and punctual sampling. The standard analysis tools are extendable with customer-specific evaluation algorithms. Open-format report templates allow easy (re)confi guration in an automated reporting process.
